I am a Mum, Step-Mum, Granny, Daughter, Long-Term Partner, Sister, Aunty, Niece, and friend.  My name is Jan, I have worked in the care sector for nearly 30 years.  I have worked with all age groups, people with mental health difficulties, learning disabilities, physical disabilities, drug, and alcohol difficulties, those in residential care and those who are homeless. For the past 11 years I have worked in both Secure and Residential centres for young people specialising in Throughcare and Aftercare, helping young people to achieve better futures and advocating for better standards of care. I am passionate about what I do, and I am always striving to do more for those who need it.
